Change the World, One Assignment at a Time

Each “Kingdom Assignment” is a 90 day adventure of putting your faith to work that is sure to challenge and change you and your church forever. More specifically, it is a biblically inspired experience designed for empowered participants to multiply and manage their talent, treasure, or time with an aim and and goal to purposely and practically advance God’s kingdom agenda in the world.

Kingdom Assignment #1 - Talent

Kingdom Assignment 1 is a contemporary reenactment of the New Testament Parable of the Talents
(Matthew 25). Individuals are entrusted with a measure or “talent” of money with instructions to
multiply and invest it creatively and personally on behalf of the Master and to give an account of the
results in 90 days.

Kingdom Assignment #2 - Treasure

Kingdom Assignment 2 is built around the New Testatment encounter between Jesus and the Rich
Young Ruler (Mark 10) who was challenged to sell his possessions, give the proceeds to the poor and
come follow after Jesus. In a similar spirit, KA participants are asked to sell a personal item of value
or “treasure” in 90 days, with the intent to give the combined proceeds to a defined project or to
personal ministry benefiting the poor in Jesus’ Name.

Kingdom Assignment #3 - Time

Kingdom Assignment 3 is a call to give of yourself in “time” to a individual in need. It is constructed
around the New Testament Parable of the Sheep and Goats where Jesus declares to his disciples
“whatever you have done to the least of these, you have done unto me.” Participants are commissioned to give of themselves to one person they consider to be among “the least of these” for 90 concentrated minutes of time and return in 90 days with an account of their experience.
